What you will do to contribute to the company's success: Our Advertising Account Executives partner with local, regional, and national companies to move their business forward by utilizing our vast range of digital products. This position requires proactive outreach through cold calling to engage with potential clients and grow our customer base. You will identify new business opportunities and work to meet the unique needs of each client, leveraging your sales experience to build lasting relationships. This opportunity is unique because you will have the chance to flex your creative mindset and sales skills in a professional setting, helping clients develop strategies that will achieve their business goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or university; and/or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Must have reliable transportation for local travel.
- General knowledge of presentation software and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Understanding of digital advertising products preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proven sales experience, with a track record of success in cold calling and new business acquisition.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with potential clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Outside sales experience (preferably more than 2 years); advertising experience is a plus but not necessary.
- Experience with customer-facing roles and community involvement or connections/relationships in the business community.
- Knowledge of the sales process, goals, or business principles.
- Experience that requires maintaining a client base or returning clients is preferred.
- Must be self-disciplined and a self-starter.
- Ability to think outside the box on how to grow business.
