Are you a hands-on construction professional with experience managing multiple projects at once? This role is within Edward Don & Company Foodservice Equipment Division is looking for a Construction Field Project Manager to oversee and lead 8–15 projects simultaneously in the Seattle area.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at coordination across multiple stakeholders, and is committed to quality, timelines, and budget control. You'll work closely with Contract Sales Representatives, Estimators, subcontractors, and trades to ensure each project is executed to specification—from the first drawing to the final walkthrough.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee multiple projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring delivery meets scope, quality, and budget goals.
- Select and manage subcontractors and coordinate work across trades.
- Request and manage project schedules and critical timelines from clients and contractors.
- Review drawings and documentation to create redlines, RFIs, and project prep materials.
- Lead pre-order meetings with internal stakeholders (CSR, estimator, coordinator, drafter).
- Communicate any changes in project dates to purchasing, estimating, and install teams post-PO issuance.
- Perform site field verifications for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components including:
- Hoods, Demand Aire, Make-Up Air units (MUA), Walk-ins, and Stainless Steel Fabrication.
- Ensure documentation (cut sheets, drawings) is current and accessible to the install team.
- Manage delivery logistics, receiving protocols, and on-site sign-offs.
- Conduct punch list reviews, ensure QA/QC compliance, and confirm scope completion.
- Notify the team when health inspections are passed to trigger project reconciliation.
- Own the financial and timely execution of all assigned projects.
- Make multiple field visits to job sites as required.
Required: High school diploma combined with 1-3 years of experience as a field project manager in the foodservice equipment installation industry or similar construction industry. Ability to clearly read and comprehend floor plans, equipment manuals, schematics, and complex instructions. Understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations. Must be able to work in office and construction field environments. Possess organizational skills including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking, self-starter and able to follow through on duties and assignment with minimal supervision. Valid driver’s license in state which applying for position.
