New Business Developer
Salary up to 45k (DOE) + bonus

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Business Developer to join our International Food Group Commercial Sales Team. Your main focus will be looking after the Middle East & some countries within Europe to identify and support new business opportunities and execute market research, identifying high potential prospects as well as focussing on recovering lost business opportunities
.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct market research to identify potential new customers and market segments.
- Prospect, pitch, and negotiating with new clients to secure business partnerships.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers
- Continuously monitor account performance and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Develop account-specific sales plans and execute strategies to maximize revenue
- Analyse and identify reasons for lost business with existing customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to regain lost accounts
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create customized solutions that address customer needs and concerns.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Understand customer needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Develop and deliver training programs for customers' sales forces on how to sell and promote Sysco Branded products effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create training materials and resources.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office
- Willing to travel internationally
- Solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analysing reports and deriving insights from data
- Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost, and expense ratio
- Strong financial acumen and ability to properly plan and execute business plans
- Strong communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams
