Role Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets through detailed account planning and execution
Grow profitable sales by increasing account penetration and reducing lost business
Partner with internal Experts and Business Development Managers to support growth strategies
Research customer needs and tailor product and service solutions accordingly
Manage sales pipeline using CRM tools and data-driven product recommendations
Monitor and renew customer contracts while ensuring compliance
Provide value-added services and product training to strengthen customer loyalty
Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and competitor activity; share insights with customers
Communicate with Sysco teams and Specialty Companies to support customer operations
Attend sales meetings, customer visits, and events
Review sales and profit reports to identify opportunities and issues
Adhere to Sysco's food safety, quality, and environmental standards
Promote a safe, compliant workplace by reporting hazards or incidents
Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):
Minimum 2 years of sales experience
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience (CPSA designation an asset)
Proven relationship-building and sales growth skills
Strong business and financial acumen; able to plan and execute business strategies
Skilled in consultative selling, networking, and negotiation
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal influence
Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in CRM tools for sales planning and forecasting
Knowledge of contract compliance management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; data-driven mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
