This role provides essential support to the district by covering holidays, assisting with
various tasks, and preparing for a full-time territory assignment within six months post
onboarding/training. The candidate will work closely with the District Sales Manager (DSM),
handling assigned responsibilities while gaining hands-on experience through training and
backfilling roles as needed. Throughout the six-month development period, they will
actively participate in holiday coverage and other key functions to build the skills necessary
to transition into a Sales Consultant (SC) position at 6 months post training/onboarding.
Individuals in this position are responsible for helping the customer succeed while
achieving specific team and individual sales and profit goals set by the company.
Individuals in this position will provide an exceptional level of business to business (B2B)
sales consultation, account management, customer service, and innovative solutions that
differentiate Sysco in the marketplace. This role is responsible for the account
management and growth of independent sales with a territory size between $4 - $6 million
dollars in annual sales.
